>how much time it takes to get good at itLiterally over a decade. Maybe some people can learn exceptionally fast but it'll still take years. As the saying goes, the master has failed more than the beginner has even tried. Art in particular is training yourself in a way of seeing things, then grinding out the perfect ways to recreate those things in drawings. Usually artists will say up front if they've traced from a photo but most artists, when making pictures like that, will draw it from scratch using a photo or a pose as a reference. Tracing something and presenting it as drawn from scratch is a major faux pas.
