Asians are very superstitious and believe in a lot of questionable stuff like spirits, ghosts, karma, magical charms and divinations. It seems crazy but it is quite easy to find a buddhist or shinto exorcist in Japan.
Where I lived in Japan there was a tree they believed was possessed by an evil spirit, so they refused to ever cut it down. It was growing in the middle of a road so instead of doing something about the tree they just made the road split in two around it and merge back together.

Well, there's two different kinds of side effects. Obvious stuff like clots, lung and heart scarring/damage, etc. On the other hand there's epigenetic shifts causing chronic fatigue, headaches, whatever. Clots are the only thing listed that medicine can actually sort of do anything about. The rest only your own mind and body can heal, and positive thinking/belief in your own vigor is the first step on that journey. Therefore, legitimizing the idea of "long covid" or many other minor disease diagnoses can actually be harmful. I dunno, it's a super complicated issue and sadly no one is even looking into it anymore now that big pharma has conquered medicine

As for the rest, it's great that you believe in the power of positive thinking, but let's just say that it's not a cure-all, and can ultimately lead to counter-productive blaming of the victims, "because they weren't positive enough". (It's very similar to what happened hundreds of years ago, people imagining that diseases were some sort of divine punishment and thus deserved.) Personally I think we should try to be as rational and objective as possible. That doesn't mean one should be a hypochondriac and always assume it's chronic, but it does mean that one shouldn't pretend that it's no big deal either. Placebos can be effective, but let's not go crazy here.
