My kamioshi is Lamy but I occasionally watch a lot of girls from different companies and also indies. There are a lot of possible reasons to watch a chuuba for me, I respect and admire some of them a lot, others are entertaining and easy to listen to, some just look and sound sexy. My favorite content is singing and idol stuff followed by zatsus, so that might be the reason I don't watch a lot of male chuubas, most of them don't focus at that content.
I never watched fleshtubers and got into vtubers because of CGDCT stuff. I didn't even try to seek out male vtubers for months. After some time watching different chuubas I'm fine with any types of content - mostly solo, female collabs only or mixed gender collabs. Some of my favorites collabing with men would likely make me a bit jealous (say, La+ and Ame. Yeah, Ame even though I'm into singing and idolshit content. Shit is weird) but I'd just skip the collab in that case. As for my kamioshi, I think it's obvious she's never gonna collab with a male but if she did I'd be fine, as long as she has fun. In her case I just deeply respect her and enjoy her streams in a more calm way without getting too parasocial or horny so her happiness is a priority. If she graduated because of something like irl marriage I would obviously bawl my eyes out but I wouldn't harbor any ill thoughts about her.
But keep in mind it's an imaginary scenario. In fact Lamy is probably the safest pick for unicorns as of now. She genuinely loves her fanbase, dependent on them but not Rushia level, shares a ton of things about her everyday life both happy and worrisome things Watame-style, loves Hololive and is a longtime fan, always genki and hyper in collabs, has the idol vibe going (the true idol story about grinding your way up from zero, she made a huge progress in singing over her time in Holo, she still lacks confidence in her voice and doesn't sing on stream but puts her all into idol stuff, dreams of making a lot of music, doing lives and shining on stage just like her favorite Love Live girls).
