>>28497652I don't think forced breaks was the only reason she left the company. She had a lot of free time during that month, she got bored and got Muku, naturally she thought about her future, maybe she talked about that with her current agent.
While in anycolor, she was bound by contract that says who knows what. She had many career opportunities that would slip away from her. All the stuff she does now, being a model, radio host, and a seiyuu, wouldn't be possible or had to be negotiated with her management on their terms. Such job offers never were off the table for her, her personal twitter and her portfolio site were up and running all the time while she was in Nijisanji. Most probably she had some job offers she had to decline.
She loves streaming like no other, but she can do it as an indie anyway, and now she can do anything she wants. She only lost half a million subscribers, brand recognition and a lot of money, but she was confident that she can make a brand out of her name on her own almost from scratch, and money never bothered her too much. All things considered, as her contract expires soon anyway, she decided not to renew it.
Now it was clear that all of this was carefully planned: graduate, wait 3 months to let the dust settle, start a channel, see how many people are actually loyal and ready to see real you, take all job offers, make useful connections in seiyuu circles (i.e. Kuwahara Yuki), have fun streaming at night as she used to, experiment with format a bit. Exactly one year later, re-debut with almost identical avatar, returning the original L*l* experience and bringing old 2d fans back while not cutting on her IRL-content. And she announced an original song next month.
Either she has some really smart cotton candy in her head or very supportive family and/or agent who knows what's best for her.
tl;dr I don't think the management could keep her by handling it better, the stalker incident was only a trigger.
