why do all male chubbas look janky and amateurish? there's just something off about all of them. female chubbas all appear to have a standard anime appeal and familiarity, even when the artists' style differs, like comparing flare to pekora. very different style in the way the eyes are drawn but still looks "normal" to me.

then i see a nijimale like sonny and he gives off a chinese manhua or korean webtoon vibe. they just look off. it's especially egregious with the en homostars. i'm sure the artists are professionals and do plenty of respectable work so idk why the result is always this way. i think astel from homostars is the closest to "normal" for male chubba that i've seen
