Niji and Holo both suffer from the same problem - they're japanese corpos and have to deal with a lot of talents and a lot of corporate middlemen. As an indie, you're the only person in the waiting line and you get to dictate your own terms with the artist and rigger instead of having to go through management.

Idk how often Nijisanji gets alternate outfit since I only watch Hololive. But if the vtuber pumping new outfits in short amount of time, it will lost the special feeling and feels cheap. Outfit reveals are usually a special occasion and from what I'm seeing with vshoujo, its not really "alternate outfit" but entirely new models with different styles. I think it will affect their brand image a little bit since the style are inconsistent.
