And the way she refused to put her vocals on top of the mix makes it hard to actually hear the lyrics, which is a consistent problem she has sometimes though. Resting power is ok, you can actually make out the vocals a lot better, but it just lacks some of the character I guess and the production is still mid, I wouldn't really go back to it again.
I think her best recent song is Capsule, it has much better production and a solid beat, but it still lacks the lyrical depth and complexity and suiseis vocals are the standout if anything
My thoughts on Mori's recent music in general is just like her strength always was her writing primarily and also her unique like kind of off-kilter flows and almost conversational delivery. Love it or hate it she had a unique style and her music had its own character. Lately she has had a much more generic jrock or even jpop kind of sound that doesn't capitalize at all on her strengths. I think she has just been putting out way too much too fast and not taking the time to refine the lyrics and find an artistic vision. It just feels kind of soulless in some way. I am just begging the execs at Universal to give her an actual hip-hop producer to whip her into shape or even maybe a k-pop producer cause a blackpink or kda kind of track could be good with her voice I think, but realistically they will just continue having her make more and more generic mainstream shit.
