>>28857249Thing is lots of POE streamers have no issues with relationships. Zizaran and Quin69 are married, Cutedog has a girlfriend. No one cares because their main asset is playing a supremely autistic game that takes up half a day of stream time AND they offer a limited commodity - playing far above what an average player can, so they serve as instruction manuals. And their viewer base reflects that, in the sense that it peaks when a new season/league releases, ebbs after a few weeks, and crashes when they play something else.
So if you want to be a female vtuber who really doesn't have any viewers who would drop you for having a boyfriend? Offer something that no one else can, that has value in itself regardless of who does it, that has barely anything to do with audience interaction. Like kyaami literally just does Live2D rigging on her stream and is one of the best vocaloid tuners around, so who cares if she has a boyfriend? That's not what her content even remotely depends on. But if you have nothing but sucking up to your audience and pretending to be a lonely maiden with games as a pretext, don't be surprised when you're hurt by people dropping you.
But then again, most female vtubers don't seem to be able to provide anything of substance after the GFE crutch is stripped away, so it's not surprising.
