The opinions of people on /vt/ are more or less worthless for determining metrics. There's maybe something like a thousand posters here at best who aren't already posting on the other platforms (twitter, discord, reddit, etc). Just because he offers something you don't like doesn't mean he lacks broad appeal. JP likes his ikemen voice and singing, Twitter + Reddit likes his sweet softboy appeal, and so on. Holostars EN did better than anyone could have expected, not just in terms of subscribers but viewcounts. The fact that they have the Holostars debuff but yet are basically close enough to NijiEN’s sub count already (hell Regis himself is on par not just with Aia but beat out Kyo) should make Anykara concerned or at least should make them rethink their whole shotgun talents model.
For fucksake they have so many EN livers already but yet only 3 have new costumes. The merch is barebones, they need to change their shit.

StarsEN will be exactly like StarsJP, they will primarily only collab with each other or with people from outside the company. There's going to be a very occasional collab with a Hololive girl every few months at absolute most, and probably only the subhuman ones like Mori or Ollie, exactly the way it goes with StarsJP.

Not super familiar with how Niji works but is the reason Niji pulls better numbers on their English debuts is because it's part of their main attraction, whereas Holostars is kinda like the side thing for Hololive which is why they are largely ignored?
