literally everyone that isn't braindead understands very well nijis go for quantity and holo attempt at quality, which means average nijifan cannot possibly watch all those streams while holos can meaning since they stream like twice a week there is a lot of overlap between holos talents while that is not necessarily the case with niji because its not physically possible to watch tens of streams lasting several hours each per day
tl;dr this graph does not reflect popularity of a fanbase, just pure numbers that are assigned causality without proper empirical testing. correlation does not equal causation
