If you didn't catch every single one of her lore streams you'd suddenly be lost when she's celebrating her birthday at the wrong time of year or doing whatever other "OMG So deep" thing she was getting into.
Not to mention it's hard to collab with someone who hasn't decided how insane she is today. Her lore could conflict with other things going on in the company and it just gets too hard to reconcile.
It's interesting to have a lore-based diversion, but it was getting out of hand and causing problems. Time to dump it wholesale.
