>>29341448>>29348036From what I read it's pretty much that Ambassador will represent their respective branch in foreign events. Sora represents JP in EN and ID focused events, Gura represents EN in JP and ID focused events, and Risu represents ID in EN and JP events.
Since the concept is still relatively new there really haven't been any events for them to actually do anything yet. I took the AX merch as Hololive just advertising that the ambassador program is going to be a thing and the CRX Hololive stuff all seems sloppily thrown together at the last minute that I'm not surprised there's nothing ambassador specific going on during it. Gura and Risu don't even have live panels, just the meet-n-greets and Sora's appearance is just going to be random, she has no meet-n-greet, and she wasn't even announced to be there until this week when the con is next week.
I can see why they picked Risu to represent ID since she's fluent in all three languages but Gura and Sora being picked is still weird since they're not really fluent in anything besides EN and JP respectively. The only thing the three really share in common is that they're all from their branch's 1st generation, wouldn't be surprised if they were picked because they were the only ones out of each 1st generation who were readily available for this.
