The designs aren't as good as you think. I think you're confusing art style with designs. The horned dude looks like a fucking beetle and would look much better without them.

Long braid girls face looks fucking weird up close but she probably has 3rd best design.

Kyo looks like a Frankenstein character they just got a regular male body and plopped a feminine face with no character in the hair color or style.

Aster, Maria and Scarles designs are decent although Aster is literally just a genshin clone even his name is almost like the main characters (Aether)

I don't know if I'm listening to vtubers or cancer patients in the make a wish foundation who wanted nothing more than to sing the most boring shit imaginable as their final hurrah. I've heard industry plants more listenable than this. Do they commission these songs before they've even started auditioning and just slot them in later?
