The nature of being a 4chan e-celeb in particular is that a shit ton of hate comes with the terrority though. She wouldn't get much hate for literally nothing other than just posting a video for her fans now, but back then if she posted a video it would inevitably end up on /a/ or /v/, and she would end up getting a whirlwind of hate just because it's 4chan and a lot of people here hate e-celeb shit.
Most of her actual fans might have been fine, but you'd also get a lot people making fun of her dead sister, her family troubles, calling her ugly, an attention whore, pedos treating her like a substitute child to fuck, then the whole dox thing among other things. Just deliberately trying to be as vicious as possible, because that's how 4chan is. She was also a massive retard that was way too open in answering questions about herself, which didn't help, but I don't think she can be blamed for wanting to distance herself from that even if most of her fans were fine.
