So I will teach the ESLs in this thread a useful method of understanding English context.
When you want someone to understand a number sequence and retain this information, you should emphasize in your inflection all three numbers in the sequence EQUALLY, in this case 125. That way they remember that number clearly.
When you are using the word "to" in the phrase 1 to 5, the "to" acts like a filler word between the actually important numbers and should not be emphasized as much in your inflection. You say the 1 very clearly, then say "to" with a little less emphasis and then say 5 with an equal amount of emphasis as the 1 had.
