In the 20 years I've been buying shit online I've only been scammed twice, both times by no-rating no-name sellers on ebay and I only bought to see if they would actually deliver on stuff that was clearly too cheap. If you just stick to sellers with actual reviews and history, you will never be let down because newsflash: it isn't worth it tanking your online shop over a $100 bauble.
I've only ever sold two things online. Video cards that were under $200 and I got hit with a chargeback on one of them over it "overheating" but when I forced that asshole to send it back for a refund, he fucked with it to make it do that. You think paypal would give a shit about that? No, I got a card back so as far as they care I'm whole, goodbye shipping fees, at least I got to keep the 60 cent finders fee.
