Yakuza actually make a big point of keeping their "clean" public businesses separate from their "shady" private ones. They want to be seen as legitimate businessmen, because it makes it easier to get away with the dirtier stuff. It's why they don't like people making uma musume porn. They don't want horse racing getting a bad reputation and tarnishing their public image.

So livestreaming is roughly 1/3 of what the merch+sponsorship income is. I knew that the supas weren't a vtuber's biggest income, but I didn't realize the difference was that large. That really puts Vshojo in perspective. With them taking a huge cut of merch sales and leaving talents with the donations and the 50% cut of subscriptions Twitch leaves behind.

You do know Nene's manager has been enforcing a bedtime on her right? And it's hard to apply "attrition" to Polka when she was (supposedly) given cart blanche to do whatever she wants from the very start. Not that I'm arguing the Lamy point, as she's told enough stories to make it clear she comes from some kind of big money, but the management point seems tenuous at best.
