My point is that people come from /pol/ to the rest of 4chan and think that memespeach and circlejerk are how you discuss things on the entire website, which causes any conversation to derail. /pol/ causes permanent cause of imageboard brain. My idea of staple of 4chin is freedom of discussion in anonymous website in boards that have their own specific culture and specific """traditions""" but still allow free discussion that can upset the consensus. With /pol/ namefagging, unirionic use of "we" and circlejerking (all of which happen everywhere else sure but to lesser degree) it pretty much opposite.
