Yeah, that's a weirdly apologetic take on why politics are taboo. It's because there's a very vocal, very obnoxious minority of ultra right-wing Vtuber fans who think women shouldn't talk to men. If they ever realize that their Oshi despises their views and politics, it'll be worse than the Coco incident.

I just wanna have some good time. Playing games, watching movie or vtuber. If a vtuber is fucking humorous or intelligent as world class stand up comedian, she/he can talk about politics. (But that's not possible for vtubers)
