Calling out specific fan groups like they're a special case is silly, Gura is simply one who hasn't interacted with the StarsEN, so any pro-idol individual will unite under her position, not just chumbuds.
So yes, some of the EN/IDs are interacting in a manner similar to the Apextards and "brotuber" brand Holos. And fine, that's what they want to go for, but there's another niche that's viable and I will argue important, that the idol vbuters are occupying. Not only is it important for them to occupy different niches to avoid overlap, but also because they offer different benefits/experiences. It isn't beneficial to anyone to disregard that.
