God, subs work so fucking weird. First of all there is no fucking way there's 2 million Nousagis or Ichimin. Like jesus christ. Vtubing is not that big. as evidenced by the fact that no livestream has ever gotten more than, what, 500k viewers?
Like where the fuck do all these subs come from? It's not just about vtubers, every channel is like that. Do you expect me to believe only 1 out of 10 subs actually watches literally any stream?? Oh wait, even with THAT absurd ratio you'd STILL expect 200k viewers per stream which is nowhere close to reality.
Subs are fucking weird. And their growth is weird too. When they're huge and blowing up you'd expect everyone to sub instantly, but no, it's always like "40k a day" or some bullshit like that, as if everyone is just slow on the uptake. And then way way down the line once they've reached their peak their sub gain falls off hard as if new fans just don't exist.
