They have cute and funny twitter interactions (They didn’t not always replied to each other in the beginning. And this is important, because you don’t typically expect a reply from a twitter thread with replies from hundreds of people) and then try to organise a collab together and play the long run of trying to make management from each site to greenlight the collab.
Ren, who never interacted or mentioned Mumei in any way or form, says "hi" in the most loudly and public way possible without any previous interaction making a huge ruckus without knowing if she’ll even reply. Putting her in an awkward situation as she can come off as rude if she doesn’t reply.
