I've been to AX and it's not really true there. You certainly see more asians at cons, but it's never quite this unbalanced. I would also note you probably wouldn't see anywhere near this many outside of the states or japan

I don't think I saw a single Pomu cosplay for the entire con. Elira, Selen, Pekora, Korone, Ame, Bae a couple Guras, and several of the Luxiem boys as you can see in the front row, but no Pomu.

Conventions have to bring their own equipment, including screens and projectors. They aren't doing that unless it's someone who can bring them bank. And there's no Vtuber who would justify the cost and resources.
