Canada has the larger ukranian population, mostly around Saskatchewan. From the cases i have heard of in the US they are mostly being hosted by wealthyish families, and the ukranians are taking up low level service jobs (like say a starbucks)
tip: if you as an american plan to date a foreigner you have to "go native" a bit, it helps to be a "whatever"-phile of the culture of the girl you are dating. If you come off as too much of a racist or a chauvinist you will turn off the girl, she may even be willing to marry you, but she will hit the exit the moment she can.
