I FUCKING LOVE THIS PLACE. It's a shame I cant stay longer because for fucks sake I had way too much fun. I got to eat lots of delicious nuts, exchange nuts with so many young and cute boys, collect so many PRETTY GEMS, and even get an arsenal of old weapons for the boys back home to learn how to make for ourselves.
Ok so I did go a bit overboard and made myself broke. Too busy spending all my money on gems. But luckily it seems that squirrel people are loved here so it was easy to make my money back. I bet people probably think I am a huge slut but I just don't give a fuck anymore. I get to endulge in my fetish AND get paid for it! And not only that but I get to help the young virgins here with their future sex lives. Everyone wins!
So about what I will be bringing back to my homeland. Of course we have our lovely amethyst but I also want /risu/ to have guns. Even though other nations look at this like junk we see it as treasure and the next step to keeping up with the powers of the world. We may even be able to reverse engineer these old guns and have a national gun for risuners. That would be so cool!
Fuck I really can't contain how amazing the Retro Reich is. I'm such a fucking nerd and this is the perfect place for nerds why do I have to leave?
Alright well anyway here we are. It has been quite some time and I have had many adventures. The pictures from the onobots will stay in my personal collection and so will a few of the other things i picked up but oh boy am I gonna earn a FUCKLOAD OF NUTS when we get back. The ship is being loaded up right now as I write this and we are all about to head out. I definitely need to come back here though. Even if I cant continue acting as a sexual instructor for the virgins then at least I can make an excuse saying I'm collecting weapons for the homeland.
Oh Retro Reich. I hope our two nations can get along. If your people ever feel stressed out then come on over. We would love to exchange our nuts with you.

>>30160005 >>30160438 It's actually about winds, currents, and volcanic ash - I figured it be a climate question. Say that Infinitum suffered an eruption 300 years ago, causing a 200 year volcanic winter. I know that this isn't realistic - volcanic winters don't last that long or stay localized to just the island. Moreoever, everyone should've died a few years in. This is a mass extinction event.
Stay with me here.
This is the current wind map:
https://files.catbox.moe/9o32xl.png . How possible would it be to keep *most* of the volcanic ash clouds to the area of pic related? I wanted to make the Borg cube part of our lore, and it ties nicely into the volcanic winter idea i've been using for a week or two (inspired by Frostpunk).
Also, to what degree would such an event have on the world, and how?
kronieronie !XcNdwMsONs
>>30160894 My reasoning (aka the idea I had at random and really want to use)
>300 years ago >Mt. Boros erupted and caused a volcanic winter >heavy ash affected far more than just infinity - global winds brought much of it southward >the area affected became incredibly difficult to traverse and toxic to stay in for too long, with sailors refusing to to go near in even after it settled a century after >almost impossible to navigate and completely impossible to map the region as the world around it progressed into the exploration era >Infinity's fate remained a mystery, and much of the knowledge of its geography was lost to the world for 300 years >the area has been referred to as the [Borg] ever since Anonymous

>>30159092 It looks like you're in the subtropical monsoon. Which means you'll have tons of fruit but lots of rainfall in the spring. Since you have a fairly warm-ish winter you can plant seeds in winter then let the monsoon rains germinate them. Long and short is anything that grows in /mans/ would grow here. Keep in mind of the floods in the spring though. Figs, almonds, avacados, aguave, ginger, etc. As long as the crops resist heat and a dry autumn and winter you should have a good crop.
Since you're inland you have a good variety of livestock. If you have grasslands then cattle's a must have. Cattle brings beef and milk. Which brings cream, butter, and cheese. Bamboo's also a pretty good crop to grow as a material and food. Since you have a not-too-dry season I think you can grow grapes, tomatoes, cabbages, and some grains like wheat, barely, oat, and rye. Its sadly too dry for rice in the fall. But spring rice is a good option. Research subtropical crops and plan the weather with monsoon patterns.
Anonymous
>>30161083 I gather this is to explain /inf/'s isolation from the rest of the world? Hmm, the big bit of handwaving this asks is for the ashes to be both toxic and to remain in the air long enough for generations of sailors to refuse approaching it. Volcanic ash just can't do that, no two ways about it.
What you could do, is have massive amounts of toxic gas be continuously expelled by thermal vents on /inf/ following the big eruption at the start. This could make the air unfit to breathe for people coming near, though this is admittedly still a bit fantastical. Also, this would doom everyone on the island to dying, but it sounds like you have a way around that.

It gave you strength, heightened the senses, and was also full of nutrients. When Mt. Boros erupted, all production of it was seized and refined, and soon enough Priestesses were the ones pumping out milk. We're talking unethical mass production industry here. Morig chuubanite already has a cooling effect, infnity chuubanite could have it as well, chuubanite effects, especially general ones like that, do not have to be exclusive. Thus, the eruption released a massive amount of infinity chuubanite that then cooled down the area for a long time. Subsequent smaller eruptions kept the area cold for centuries. Borg cube is the range of the magical effect. Foreign ships could avoid it due to not wanting to deal with volatile magics. Everyone else, morning, how are you this fine day?

KRrep !.NKzGxKvQY

Make them in traditional Korean Architecture except on Tsushima, which will be Japanese.

>>30182953 Chinese and Korean nobles were a mix of scholar-gentry and powerful local families than actually land-holding nobles in "feudal Europe" so to speak, I think the main issue's that you can't really have a decentralised state (that isn't fighting among itself) based on any model from Korean history since it wasn't really a thing there

>>30183345 Well... I am already deep with mine. We can keep it "Korean" with it's own uniqueness like I made with Tsushima. I'll bring to you my full plan on this soon enough, thinking the "Marcher Lords" on your border would have a tradition of Autonomy while the Western part of the Indies would have been Mujigae (Will need to think of how that even translates there.) Maybe some tribes in the hills but I don't want to overcomplicate things honestly.
Anonymous
Anonymous
>>30183624 From what I can tell, Mujigae is meant to represent nijiKR (or at least, what remained in Nijisanji after the branch merge), in which case it being more centralised seems reasonable, and I think most of nijiKR streams/streamed in Korean, so the Korean cultural trappings can work too. I'm just not too sure if it makes sense to apply to the rest of /kr/ or /kr/'s own structure as well. Like I mentioned before, indies who used to be nijiKR could be holdouts of the old regime (ironically), while the rest might not be very integrated into Mujigae's centralised system despite cultural similarities and once being part of it. The size and nature of these smaller Indie states will vary a lot, both depending on their size (reflecting their presence in our thread) and their economy (which is dependent on their climate, biome and local resources)
>I don't want to overcomplicate things honestly I think letting go of the attempt to make /kr/ too Korean would be a good way to make things less convoluted desu

Aside from some reasons raised by other anons opposing the pact's requirements (that it should have more to do with religion rather than "meta" reasons), there's also geopolitical concerns and thread relations. The indie continent is one of our biggest markets, depends on the history of /vsj/, the traditional wisdom could be to limit it's growth and influence as much as possible. The rise of /vsj/ may also threaten already profitable and friendly relations with indie countries like /vrt/. /who/ the thread also doesn't really want anything to do with /vsj/ especially when there are catalogfags that occasionally come in and post bait. Thus far there's also no interaction between Mumei and any /vsj/ streamers. Both of these factors combined, I'm not sure what the relationship would be. It would have to depend on how /vsj/'s lore and history ultimately end up and some deliberation between hoomans who are involved in this project.

If you like, we can share the many castle siege and protection strategies and weapons that we've implemented in the past, though we have good relations with the watamates, we cannot condone piracy and extortion and will at least help you establish castle defenses on the coast. The lunaitos will continue to wear their armor, as is tradition, though if the heat does become too much we will consider less thick plate and different colorations, I'd already thought that these knights would have winged emblems attached to their shoulder plates to show their training so it would be par for the course.

>>30199776 Depends on how the political lore ultimately pans out, which is handled by the rep. /who/ would be quite politically stable because we are not born from revolution but war. Security and stability of the state and its people, mostly from schizos would matter more than the counter revolution. So the role of the Committee of Public Safety is replaced by the R.I.D.. Which roots out any lurking schizos and threats to the state.

>>30200262 so, correct me if i am wrong, but are there any watamelon reps here? it would be a bit devious to set up a repless tribe as a terrorist organization to act as your own primary enemy (that you have plot armour against) while at the same time having them be the primary aggressors against your enemies so that you can remain perfectly innocent, and even force yourself into mutual agreements with the people you are indirectly fighting, and since you are repping for your enemy, you can decide to make it so that your enemy takes the brunt of the damage since you have plot armour. again, i have no idea what's going on, i just thought of that while trying to keep track of who is who in all of this chaos.
