That sort of thing isn't the talent's decision. They were confused about Uproar being separate so obviously they had no hand in that. Plus it was management that started marketing them as a single group and selling group merch long before any of them expressed their feelings on the group dynamic.

The year that they were like that they had lost 3 members, two for personal reasons and one because he was that ill. Instead of ACCELERATING the talents wanted to focus on themselves/the remaining stars as a whole. They also didn't want to lose their EN audience at the time as a lot of the new gens were also about StarsEN
In the end it worked, so it wasn't the wrong call.

Astel has talked about this a bit and currently the goal is to appeal better to the JP market, which was the only recourse in general.
Sides its not like they are unpopular they have low CCV but high and consistent vod views

They are unpopular in comparison to literally every other male corpo, including starsEN. Just today I saw Shien‘s 200k celebration pop up on my youtube feed and he had less than 2k live viewers. The only reason why starsJP weren‘t disbanded is because they are Yagoo‘s personal pet project, so the least they can do is to try and work together with their kouhais instead of ostracizing them because of their victim complex while stagnating their own growth.

Literally what the fuck are you talking about? JP have all been excited and welcoming to their kouhai and are looking forward to collabs. But Astel is right, they need to build a bigger domestic audience and EN isn't going to give them that, even without EN they already had more overseas fans.
