Mel would be an aerial variant. Struggles when under pressure, but can freely mix throws from any position, and locks out competing aerials.

Choco: Dinosaur queen. Sends them out over the stage and attacks through them. Can hover while moving laterally.
>Korone and MioKorone: Purely a melee mixup and guard pressure character. Not invincible, but oppressive.
Mio: Queen of midrange. Can set up passive anti-air (Hatotaurus) to lock an opponent into the corner, and many attacks auto-cancel (or have special extensions) if you hit with their tip, blocked or not. Can use Hatotaurus to extend her range without extending her hurtbox.
>Flare and NoelFlare: Clean one-hit knockdowns, fast punishes, and okizemes. Respectable normal on normals. Kintsuba can reflect projectiles or cover escape options with his own. Can fire an arrow at the enemy's legs for a ranged knockdown.
Noel: Grappler. Wants to scare enemies into blocking with mid-range knockdowns, then tear them apart for it. Chain for ranged grabs and a mace for a quick anti-air priority option.
>Coco and KanataCoco: Mobile juggernaut with a bit of ranged support (a few shots from offscreen tatsunoko). Specializes in chip damage, mainly coming from a few telegraphed flips.
Kanata: Aerial threat. Can temporarily disable enemy guards with loud yells.

>Polka and BotanPolka: Two-part attacks and traps everywhere. Tosses jack-in-the-boxes at opponents that reactivate when the button is released. Aerial that summons a large ball she walks on to steamroll grounded enemies. Ranged magic grab that lets her toss foes around.
Botan: Ranged zoner. All attacks are tied to a gun, except for her melee get-away tools. Has light chip damage on her rifle shots and can cancel pistol shots into a dodge.
>Gura and MoriGura: Can turn dash attacks into unblockable grabs (bite), forcing the enemy to move. Can dive when pressured. Maintains momentum.
Mori: Long-ranged attacks with the scythe that deal damage, but keep the enemy standing for abuse. Good pushback on keep-out moves, even on block. Controls distance both on ground and in the air. Only attacks one part of her range at a time.
>AnyaAnya: Curses enemies with Keris stabs during attacks, reducing their attack, dealing bonus damage to their guard, or temporarily draining their HP over time. Can temporarily turn into a dagger to interrupt melee attacks.
