>>3063610Depends how far back we're talking, I started lurking right before Holo gen 4 debuted when everything was contained in one thread, it was mostly hololive vs nijisanji shitposting and the usual stuff but it felt a lot... lighter? Before the schizos really took hold.
After the threads split into /vyt/, /niji/ and /hlg/ I tried to lurk all 3 but outside of big events I dropped off of /vyt/ and /niji/ since they slowed to a crawl outside of the occasional falseflagger who would show up and try to get /niji/ and /hlg/ to shit up each other's threads.
As it inexplicably picked up more and more speed, /hlg/ started to attract more and more drama-addicted retards until eventually I stopped going there, the threads around both the ID1 and Gen 5's debuts were fucking disgusting. I came back for HoloEN and /wvt/ and even though /hlgg/ is kind of a shithole now it's still better than /hlg/ was at it's worst.
