You can actually see the effect containment breaking and being pozzed have had on /vt/. It's literally just a public restroom with fiefdoms scattered about. Not that it's a surprise. /mlp/ suffered a similar fate, and that's why you ideally keep boards seemingly irrelevant to the topic/hobby and outside of the public awareness.
