This general aims to be a place where Indonesians could talk about Indonesian VTubers freely and (hopefully) politely.
Recent happenings:
>ID VTuber scene continues to incline (for months already!)
>Hololive ID will celebrate 17 August (Indonesia's Indepedence Day for ye' EOPs) with an event! It seems that HoloID will release a music video, an "audio drama", and possibly more. HoloID Gen 2 member also get new outfit.
>To celebrate the third anniversary of Nijisanji ID, Niji-exID members will create a project! It seems that an MV will be created and ZEA is opening submissions for arts to be used in the MV. Taka Radjiman also announced a Family Feud event, although the date is unclear yet.
>Esme Kingsleigh from Metanoia will have an indefinite hiatus from 1 November 2022, with her moving to Japan cited as the reason behind the hiatus
>Maha5 will celebrate 17 August with a Pico Park collab, a Stumble Guys collab, and a flag ceremony in Maha5's Minecraft server.
>There's some discourse/discussion/bickering going on in the ID VTuber community regarding hybrid VTubers and fanservice (aka. is it okay for a VTuber to show their tits on stream?). This happens after a clip of Yami Barbara went viral (and I guess that Mythia clip too?), and apparently Airi's thigh review is related to this. Very recently, Yami's management (Arunika) released a statement addressing the problem. Arunika stated that they will limit Yami's fanservice and hybrid contents.
