>>30887441>Doesn’t this shit happen with every arc? I remember Kiara admitting on stream before that she secretly hoped that the portal arc would end soon cause she couldn’t join. Not "every arc", since this is only really a function of "online game with a shared world where spontaneous interactions could happen", so only really Minecraft, before Rust also came along now. Oh and I guess Ark before, but EN as a whole pretty much missed that.
>Not that I really care for Rust but it’s these type of arcs that really start and strengthen a lot of friendships in Hololive. Fucking Gura is becoming friends with Pekora since they play Rust offline these days.Yes, remember how Moona for example got so close to Pekora? Not by trying to set up "official" actual collabs, but just by hanging around in MC at the same time and taking the opportunity to interact spontaneously. Meanwhile Kiara... for how much of a Peko fangirl she is/was, she didn't get anywhere near as close because she took the wrong approach and missed out.
We already talked about the looping problems with setting up even "normal" collabs formally (muh timezones, muh I don't want to be pushy, I tried to invite them so often, it's burdensome, they should reach out to me, and in the end when everyone thinks like this nothing gets actually done), but still Kiara for all her social outgoingness seems rather bad or at least below average in taking the opportunities when chances for spontaneous interactions in a shared world are actually there (basically only Flare comes to mind as an actually spontaneous MC vc impromptu collab - and it didn't lead to much afterwards again anyway). Yes, that may have to involve being awake at inconvenient hours, and yes, that may involve having to play a game that doesn't look too interesting to you. But it's not about the game anyway, it's about the chance to have fun interactions with new people spontaneously without always having to go through the hoops of setting up a "formal" collab. Sure, you can try to cope it away like "w-who cares, Rust sucks anyway, I'm totally fine with being left out..." by anons or Kiara, but the fact is you're gonna miss out on everybody else having fun and bonding and you're over here alone and isolated and regretting.
