>>31057939Even if this is bait or astroturfing I think this is a pretty interesting question.
Compared to the other major small corpos (prism, kawaii) Phase sub counts aren’t anything special but their CCV is dramatically higher.
A few things I’ve noticed: freedom to use both twitch and yt in a way that encourages growth of both, outfits/2.0 debuts to build hype with the brand, high profile acquisitions i.e. Lumi from the foundering cyberlive, fishman being very active in the community writ large.
But none of those things really explain pippa or tenma. I think they are both very good and deserve success, but their CCV numbers are still higher than you’d expect. All of their top talents are kind of insane and pretty creative/entertaining, so maybe fishman just knows how to pick ‘em.
The cynic in me says you could stick your thumb on the scale with careful application of bots and ads to emphasize/exaggerate the amount of hype around a stream/event, which could snowball into real viewers getting a stream recommended.
