And, it's kind of "dream-like," I think. The "idol dream?" Obviously that isn't what you're actually talking about, but since it's branched from a warping of that idea, maybe just "Dream" would work. So let's base this new word off of dreams.
You know what, it's mostly about women, too. So we could just call them "Dream Girls." Ones who let you live out a fantasy.
But, well, it's gotta be japanese. They like to combine words to make new ones, so let's combine the Japanese words for "Dream" and "Girl" and use that new word to describe what you're looking for. "Yume" and "Shoujo."
How about "Yumejo?" I think that would be a decent word to describe what you're looking for. A "Dream-Girl." A girl that lets you live out a fantasy. A Yumejo!
