Is there an acceptable way for a vtuber to be in a relationship? The reaction to Nyanners having a boyfriend was wildly different than Rushia or Shirara. Is it okay if they're open about it and don't do GFE?

i think the difference between rushia and nyanners was transparency,rushia was building this whole illusion that she was each individual viewers girlfriend that would never associate with any other man while nyanners just did a bit of gfe pandering here and their and never suggested being chats girlfriend. obviously the reaction is gonna be totally different

It depends on the content they do and their fan base. If they do gfe experience or whatever, then it's a huge deal. If they're more lay back then I don't think it matters. I think they should be honest with their fan base so there's a trust between them.

I personally would like to see what a vtuber couple would look like. Like how they interact with the chat or how they stream.
