Yes, but only the strongest will survive. At some point companies like Disney will likely jump on board and launch their own original vtubers or buy existing companies if this train doesn't show any sings of stopping. However, first they'll have to learn from Sony's fuck up if they want to succeed.
The worst part about ever-expanding corporate vtubing is that it can become soulless sanitized cash grab really quickly. We may end up seeing something akin to the music industry where very talented and hardworking individuals barely make a living while mass manufactured polished "products" pushed by the execs get all the radio play time, money and fame. I'd argue we're still not at that point but Hololive and Nijisanji are working hard to bring us there.

You can never go too fast when it comes to a trend. And this is just another one. Would be nice to see some smaller corpos or new ones rise up but it looks like Niji and Holo and vshojo are still the spotlight.
