Interestingly her design matches the design philosophy of Black Rock Shooter, with one predominant color (orange in the case of Kiara, black in the case of BRS) and one complimentary color (Green for DM, Blue for BRS, for Kiara it's Blue and Purple, so it's not exact 1-to-1). In both cases the skin serves as a contrast to the outfit, although in BRS the bone-white skin is much more noticeable.
