It's because they were well produced. A lot of money and effort was spent into making those songs and videos just for them to be shit anyways.
A 14 year old from Mexico making garbage music with a bootleg copy of FL Studio and a webcam mic is never going to get that much hate even if the music itself is just as bad or even worse.
