What reason would they do so?
How are the approaching the vtuber personality and stream?
How real or fake are they pushing their enjoyment?
What is their attachment?
Are they immediately seeking collabs?
What kind of clique or groups are they mixing themselves up with?
These questions and more are important.

Look up any Hololive girl's Japanese name + 前世 and you'll be able to see their past activities before joining Hololive. The majority of them were streamers before joining, and some were even face cam streamers. Some of them still do face cam streams on their roommate accounts like Coco and Matsuri. If I say any more I'll get banned, but this isn't really secret knowledge or anything and it's easy to find if you look.

The Hololive girls didn't continue with the same personas, they started over with their vtuber personas.
What some streamers are doing is making live2d / 3d avatars of themselves, which I personally find ridiculous.

If they're using their same name/brand/account and just attaching a vtuber model to it. Fubuki isn't doing that, her face cam streaming isn't directly connected to her vtubing. That's the difference everyone's talking about.
