Typical ways a wrestler can be eliminated from a competition are:
- disqualification, in which a wrestler commits one or more fouls and the refree finds the offense(s) to be worthy of such penalty. Nobody in Holofightz has ever been disqualified over a dirty move so I suspect OP has it disabled altogether
- pin fall, in which both shoulders must be in continuous contact with the mat and the refree has to count to 3. In most cases a pin fall means immediate victory but there are matches where wrestlers have to do it more times. Falls count anywhere rules allow a wrestler to pin another on any surface
- submission, in which a wrestler surrenders by "tapping out" to an opponent's joint lock or chokehold in order to avoid an injury or loss of consciousness
- knockout, in which a wrestler is incapacitated and unable to continue the fight due to excessive physical trauma. In WWE 2k20, a wrestler is not counted to 10 (like boxing)
- ring out, in which a wrestler leaves the ring for an excessive amount of time. Being successfully thrown out of the ring means immediate defeat only in a Royal Rumble, and only if the wrestler is sent over the top rope, otherwise the most common thing is the ref counting to 20 (or 10...), and if the wrestler fails to return back on the ring by the time the ref is done counting, it's a ring out
Again, there are many ways a match plays out. There are matches where the victory condition is to escape the fighting area, the complete opposite of losing by ring out. In other matches one or more objects must be secured, in others still, broken.
For instance, in this stream you did not see anybody attempt a pin fall or submission hold in the ID match because the only way to win was by knocking out everyone else.
