I have been watching Rye today and I don't get it, why do people think she's getting in Holo? She seems cute and her content isn't bad but I still don't see her getting recruited

That said, I was looking at the Kawaii thread and based on voices alone I don't think anyone said Rye was one of the new girls, but I may be wrong.

She applied for the Iluna audition in March and wasn't accepted, so she's not going to be in wave 7. Tsunderia is our best bet, if not maybe she's just legit taking a hiatus from vtubing.

People do it all the time though, it's wishful thinking that somehow they'll magically get "lucky" off a new model or persona. Very rarely, they actually do, although it's much more common to just get a good rework to an existing character and get more popular.
