I spent the last weekend looking into this, and I couldn't find anything that explicitly ties her to being the lady in the video, but they've at least known each other for a long time and she's definitely involved in the whole thing.

And the claim she doesn't know Japanese is wrong, the "cult" shifted its focus to being a precure/japanese learning group in the mid 2000s.
