I think what irks me the most, is that it kinda removes a bunch of identifying aspects of the Korone design (Color-scheme, silhouette, etc.), basically removing her identity for the sake of the sponsorship.
But everyone has their line in this spectrum, and I accept that especially in Japan and in the idol/celebrity business, this kind of recognition means a lot.
