Yeah, it's pretty boring watching them play rust how they are rn.

Botan even said months ago that she'd never play rust with holopro due to how she plays and she knows they wouldn't sit well with it.

Pretty sad since I wanted to see her play rust.

There should be designated free fire zone on the island where everyone who wants to fight can fight. Like the desert or winter area or something. Build homes there and war it out. Anyone who stumbles into there is fair game.

Nobody bothered to learn basic building, just winging it with chat backseating, twig houses with soft sides on the outside everywhere - do your research, you lazy asses, it takes 10 minutes to watch some basic tutorials on 2x speed. If you play Rust, play it properly - farm 36 rockets and go raid a compound, not that "Can't hit a tree with a rock I'm so silly tee-hee". At least they don't hesitate to shot each other.

They don't, not necessarily. You can configure your server to wipe whenever you want. With that being private self-hosted server, I imagine they let it running until everyone gets bored.

I'm not sure myself. The Rust has very well defined cycle and progression that makes it a dynamic and interesting game. Build system is mostly focused on based that are meant to be destroyed, so you have stuff like stability (although I've seen pretty interesting RP bases, but even then people build them in a matter of days or even hours). The whole game is "stop having gear fear" simulator, you are not supposed to play it like a Minecraft.
