The emotions she shows during membershrimp streams are real yes but they weren't born from thoughts of affection for her shrimps, she was always thinking about something else and it's not just me making shit up in my head, her choice of songs is obvious and the way she says thank you in chat is always cold but with a thin veil of irony like eating the shrimp emote. She used to hate eating shrimps.
I know I am right about the barrier and that's another reason why I have this opinion on her streams, there's no reason for her to go out of her way to be affectionate to her shrimps like you say she really is but she knows how to keep her reputation and acting like this with her shrimps is important for that, for this to work she always says nice things keeping a certain obvious distance and sings love songs but the motivation she gets for singing those songs doesn't come from her fans, same thing for the emotions she shows, she just likes the songs or is simply reminiscing about past events that make her emotional while she sings a song that hits the nail in the head.
