Where he fucked up was abandoning his motto, "wholesome to wholesome people and toxic to toxic people". And Vshojo acted far more like a toxic group during that entire debacle.
People watched him because he wasn't really afraid of retards trying to "cancel" him for dumb shit, but this was the first time that it actually stuck. Other than meekly defending himself, he didn't push the issue or dunk on Vshojo like he usually did on people trying to cancel him. He just cucked out and "wanted to move on".
I think that rubbed a lot of his fans the wrong way, because Vshojo was absolutely in the wrong and he didn't give the audience what they wanted from him (drama, as usual).
It kinda proved that even he had people he didn't dare dunk on, and that he was vulnerable to female gaslighting just like every other male content creator. His "larger than life" image just vanished into this air and what was left was a simple meek beta male.
