>>31734969i mean yea, i agree completely. ID also mogs EN in this regard. i still like EN and love some of the EN girls, but it is true that it has a "youngest sibling" culture. listless, directionless, kinda lazy. it's more surprising that ID didn't fall into something similar, but maybe they're as a whole more aware of how much things can turn for them. zeta only got hot water this year or something i heard.
some of it, i think, is the girls experiencing a quarter life crisis because in a certain sense they've topped out already. literally, once you hit hololive there is nowhere else to go. and the fact that some of these girls went straight from being 2view nobodies to the top of the food chain means they have no idea what to do with themselves anymore. that on top of already being kinda menhera, listless losers (i don't mean that meanly...) before they got into holo. thats why you see ame trying to go deep into the autistic technical projects. makes her feel like she's progressing.
but there's a reason it's called the grind instead of the climb. 'cause it's not just about working at it and going upward, it's about working at it when it seems like you're just doing the same shit day after day. which is, unfortunately, what a job is.
