You think it's the same thing but it isn't. Part of the reason probationary contracts are used is to gauge an employee before permanently hiring them, so you can avoid the hassle of actually firing them. Firing people in any real company is fucking difficult and can result in lawsuits (see: Rushia).
Anon is saying that no vtuber was fired for not streaming. If he's talking about Hololive then this is a fact, because it has not happened. Instead you have the probationary contract.
