>>31899729Somewhat. I'm trying to give them traits that feel faithful to the mascot concept/streamer, but I'm also trying to take into account gameplay considerations. Most of the mascots are based heavily on existing mons, but I always try to mix it up at least a little bit in some way (preferring to buff up those based on weaker mons). I'm also trying to keep the typings diverse, so there's more than likely a few that I'm stretching in regards to typing in order to meet that standard.
I wouldn't expect too much though, this is just a fun thing I'm doing in my spare time and I'm an EoP so it's not going to be the in-depth fan tribute I'd ideally like it to be.>>31899846It is, but the disassembly of Red/Blue a few years ago makes modifying the games shockingly easy. The biggest hurdle so far was adding Will-o-Wisp to the game, which required creating a new function
which really is just a modified version of an existing function but leaving that part out makes it sound like I know what I'm doing to handle a burn status move along with messing with some pointers. I'd really like to buff the poison status too, but I'll get to it when I can.
But that aside I chose R/B because I find them really interesting mechanically and I've always wanted to make a remix type project for them.
