I don't recall what happened exactly but as of like, ten years ago, he used to have a regular job working at a bank aka this wasn't actually his gig and he was just a fan. However, if he lost his job and decided to turn this into his gig then I can see why he'd try so hard to latch onto the vtuber trend.
