Takamori are all about public exposure, Ame is a twitch native, and Irys became a vtuber for the same reason as Bao (to become a streamer). Meanwhile, the rest either do it in moderation because it's just a casual hobby, or they have better things to do with their time.
As for the nijis, they seem to make enough to get by and Niji JP doesn't seem to have hard rules on THOU MUST STREAM, so I'd imagine they double down just because they actually enjoy it to some degree. At the end of the day, people will prioritize and pursue the things they wanna do, and their hours streamed will reflect that.
